PLEASE NOTE: These are:

Lesson Plan 28: Vapor Pressure

Lesson Plan 29: Effect of Solute and Concentration on Properties of Water

Goals and Objectives of This Lesson:

Vocabulary Terms: After learning these two lessons, your students should be able to define or explain these terms

● Vapor ●Vapor pressure ● Boiling Points ● Properties of Pure Water

Concept Tasks: After learning these two lessons, your students should be able to:

1. Relate vapor pressure and temperature

2. Read NYS Reference Table H – Vapor Pressure of Four Liquids

3. Determine the boiling point of a liquid at a given pressure

4. Identify changes to the properties of water when a solute is added

5. Identify the concentration of a solution that will have the most or least effects on solution properties

6. Identify the solute that will cause the most or least change to water’s properties

As with all my products, each resource in this product neatly organizes concepts, ideas, vocabulary terms, example problems, and skill tasks into manageable chunk sets. This makes teaching easier for educators and helps students focus on learning one thing at a time.
